We are pleased to announce that WINTER will be presented at the 21st Old Mining Colloquium (“21. Altbergbau- Kolloquium”) at UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein, Germany. The conference will be held on on 9th-10th November 2023 and it will be hosted by the Post-Mining Research Centre of the Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences and will discuss issues related to exploration, evaluation, securing and safekeeping of abandoned mines and other post-mining activities.
German partners from DMT_THGA will present the project, with emphasis on the management and governance aspects of coal transition.
